Patrice Meyer-Bisch is a philosopher and president of the observatory of diversity and cultural rights at the University of Fribourg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\u201cCultural action is, essentially, primordial. It allows us to pose the question of human exclusion in a much more radical way that doesn\u2019t reduce to access to housing, to work, to resources, or to healthcare. We could think that access to these other rights become inevitable when the right to culture is recognized.\u201d – Joseph Wresinski in Culture and Extreme Poverty<\/p>\n

Patrice Meyer-Bisch analyzes the approach which considers poverty and extreme poverty as violations of human rights: specifically violations of the access to cultural rights which are the heart of all human rights according to the principle of indivisibility to which Joseph Wresinski held dear.<\/p>\n
