Sivio Campana is a former human rights defender from Cuzco, Peru<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Silvio Campana connects the thinking of Wresinski and the practice of human rights, showing how the principles of equality and equity do not reach those in extreme poverty as long as governments develop supplementary laws to fight extreme poverty \u2013 a \u201claw for the poor\u201d – different from the common law of all citizens.<\/p>\n

Beginning with the thinking of Wresinski, Campana seeks to recover the fundamental principles of equality and equity, in link with the obligation of governments and the social responsibility of individuals and public and private entities, and taking into account the point of view, experience, and the role of the poorest in the construction of knowledge and application of human rights.<\/p>\n
