Na het voltooien van schitterende studies aan de Ecole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure, engageerde ze zich met woord en daad\u00a0 in de uiterst linkse vakbond van onderwijzers, doceerde filosofie in diverse lycea, werkte \u00e9\u00e9n jaar als metaalarbeidster en stond aan het front van Aragon, in een anarchistische militie bij het begin van de Spaanse Burgeroorlog.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-1906 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.joseph-wresinski.org\/nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/18\/2017\/09\/220px-Simone_Weil_1922.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"169\" height=\"179\" \/>Deze cruciale ervaringen, die haar op een kritiek moment van de geschiedenis confronteerden met wat ze <em>le malheur<\/em> noemde &#8211; dat van alle tijden is \u2013 waren bepalend voor haar verdere evolutie. In november 1938 had ze een mystieke ervaring die heel haar gedachtegoed doortrok en haar engagement tekende: als denker, als politieke militante, als vrijwilliger in de oorlog, als gelovige buiten de Kerk, als genagelde aan het kruis van het lijden in de wereld.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ervaring en de noodzaak om te handelen<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Om te oordelen over mensen en \u00a0maatschappelijke toestanden, om zich met om het even wat bezig te houden als het om mensen gaat, moet je er direct mee te maken gehad hebben, moet je er mee geconfronteerd zijn, het lot van die mensen concreet hebben gedeeld.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Het is de overtuiging van zowel Simone Weil als Joseph Wresinski dat hij\/zij die het juiste inzicht heeft diegene is die lijdt onder een situatie, die verdrukt wordt, niet de verdrukker of de vrijblijvende observator (of de kamergeleerde, of de politicus die handelt op basis van verslagen, statistieken , enz.) Je kan het ook niet houden bij een intellectueel oordeel: je moet handelen. <em>Pas als een idee in daden wordt omgezet is het werkelijk re\u00ebel<\/em> . Anders blijf je bij loos gepraat, bij louter speculeren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Het gaat om mensen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Beiden spreken, denken en handelen\u00a0 zowel voor gelovigen en ongelovigen, en discrimineren in hun communicatie, in hun betrachting en in hun oordeel niemand qua gezindheid, (on)geloof of overtuiging. Het gaat om mensen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Ze handelen in een perspectief dat alle mensen geori\u00ebnteerd zijn naar een gemeenschappelijk besef van hogere waarden die voor elke mens tellen, die door iedereen, bewust of onbewust nagestreefd worden en horen te worden.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Simone Weil heeft het in dat opzicht over<em> le bien pur<\/em>. Genade is er voor iedereen en ook de meest expliciete materialisten of athe\u00efsten beschouwen anderen niet als pure materie, en zinloos wemelen van biochemische processen en krachten.
