Antoine Guggenheim is a theologian and director of the “troisieme cycle” at the Faculte de Notre Dame (France).

Can the biblical notions of a people of god, an elect, alliance, law, and mission help to understand the situation of the fourth world and engage with them? How to understand through the school of Wresinski the mission of the church before God and society? Antoine Guggenheim begins with the book The Poor are the Church and several texts by Joseph Wresinski to trace his theological renewal – the human and spiritual in Wresinski which renews our knowledge of mankind, God, and their relationship – and asks practical questions that can encourage others to act and reflect for a more humane world.
